He declared he was 35 years old, born July 18 1873 in Hamilton, Canada, and was then residing at 898 Albright Ave. in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He declared he emmigrated from Hamilton, Canada by train, arriving at the City of Scranton on or about Feb 15 1874. He renounced allegiance to Edward VII, King of Great Britain and Ireland, and declared he was not an anarchist or polygamist. He was recorded as 6' tall, 180 lbs., dark hair, blue eyes, light complexion.10

He renounced allegiance to George V, King of Great Britain and Ireland, and declared he was not an anarchist or polygamist. The petition was witnessed by Mrs. Ellen Drake and J. W. Henshaw, both of Scranton.10
