Mrs. Jane M. Henshaw (nee Swanson) of Millsboro, DE and formerly of Chester, PA passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. She was 76 years old.
Mrs. Henshaw was born in Chester, PA on February 22, 1940 to the late John and Isabelle McCafferty Swanson. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband James K. Henshaw, Sr. in 2002, a sister, Isabelle Caldwell and a grandson, Raymond Millard, Jr., both in 2015.
Jane retired from Hockerís Manufacturing. She was previously employed at Teledyne Wirz in Chester, PA and Donís Deli in Boothwyn, PA. She enjoyed watching the Young and the Restless and NCIS. She loved relaxing in her nightgown and bathrobe, painting ceramics, taking care of her pets and listening to various types of music, especially country singers Blake Shelton and Toby Keith. She also collected various Tweety Bird items and Snow Babies figurines. Jane was feisty and outspoken, but would welcome you with open arms. She was devoted to her family. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by five children; Harry Millard of Linwood, PA; Teresa Yeager of Chichester, PA; Marian Snarr of Millsboro, DE; Raymond Millard, Sr. of Trainer, PA; and James Henshaw, Jr of Millsboro, DE; She is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as many extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE 19966, where friends may call from 11:00 AM Ė 1:00 PM for visitation and viewing. Burial will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
