He married Sally Cooper, Feb 14 1802, Shelby County, Kentucky.1  

This was actually William Highshoe [also spelled Hightshoe, Hichew, Heightchew, etc.].  Although the spellings vary enormously, the descendants all pronounce it the same way, more or less.  The original member of this family in North America was Jacob Heidschu from the Palatinate region of Germany.  The original marriage document is written in very poor handwriting and is easily misinterpreted to be Henshaw, which is incorrect.2
