She married Benjamin M. Jack, Jan 12 1865, Tipton County, Indiana.3,4  Benjamin, son of James + Rebecca Jack, was born 1838, Ohio.5,6,7,8  Benjamin was the brother of Reece Jack who married Sarah's sister Polly Ann Hanshew.9

Levi B. Jack, born 1865, Indiana; married Lida McCartney, 1885 (child: Emma L. Jack). 5,7,8
Joseph H. Jack, born c1868, Indiana. 7,8
Mary L. Jack, born c1871, Indiana. 8

Jack, Sarah S., age 23, born in Indiana; keeps house.
Jack, Levi B., age 4, born in Indiana.
Jack, Joseph H., age 2, born in Indiana.
Living next door in 1870 was the family of sister Polly.10  

Sarah A. Hanshew died 1871.11  

Benjamin remarried,11 Dec 24 1872, Tipton County, Indiana,3 to a Nancy J. Warner,3,8 who had been previously married.8
