Columbus Cleveland Hanshew died Nov 20 1894, buried Handchew Cemetery, north of Ozark, Franklin County, Arkansas,.1,2,3  a tiny private cemetery on the Robert Jones farm2 (the Billy Adams farm in 1995),3 on county road #304 about 7 miles east of Hwy 23,3 near Barnes, Arkansas.2  

C.C. is buried with his sister Mary; their gravestone reads:

Grieve not them who Dieth For Their Struggling Souls are free and The World from which they Flieth is a world of misery.  They died to live, they sank to rise, they left this wretched Mortal Shore to live with God Forevermore.
