Born about 18701, Jackson County, Alabama1 [possibly Franklin County, Tennessee1].  

She married Matthew Miller2 [James Matthew "Matt" Miller3, Madison Miller4,5], Aug 17 18842, Jackson County, Alabama2.  Matthew, son of James Madison Miller & Eliza Ann Sisk, was born Dec - 1865, Jackson County, Alabama.3,6,7,8  

Sarah Hinshaw and Madison Miller were married by James H. Langston, "Minister of the Gospel".4,9  Married at "Martin Bradford's"9 (apparently the home of a Martin Bradford).  The marriage index notes "Colored",4,5 however this seems to have been an error in the marriage index as the marriage license itself does not indicate "colored" anywhere9 (and censuses clearly showed Madison Miller as "white").  

Sarah and Matthew moved to Spruce Pine, Franklin County, Alabama.1

Sarah Hinshaw died 1894.1,3  Medical: Sarah died from tuberculosis.1,3  

After Sarah died, Matthew remarried to Martha E. Tidwell, Jun 16 1895,3 Franklin County, Alabama.5  He moved the family about 1904 to Tahlequah, Cherokee County, Oklahoma Territory.1,3
