For some reason this marriage was doubly recorded - on Aug 10 in Ogle County's records (showing Lewis Weeks Clark "of Cook Co"), and Aug 23 in Cook County's records. It is unknown why this marriage was recorded separately in two different counties, only a few days apart.
Emily was shown in the 1865 New York state census (Jun 22 1865), living with her parents and family in Brooklyn, Kings County, New York:3
