He married Beulah Roberta Adkins, Jul 24 1943, Clay County, West Virginia.4,7  Beulah, daughter of John Noah Adkins & Margaret Sophia Overbaugh6,8, was born Apr 30 19236,8 [19219], Clay County, West Virginia6,8.  

Beulah was the sister of Elsie M. Adkins who married Noble's second cousin Opra Ernest Hanshaw.10  

In 1975 Noble was living in Reedsville, West Virginia.11  

Noble Leo Hanshaw died Jul 22 2001, Wishing Well Health Center, Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia; buried Mannington Park (Mannington Memorial) Cemetery, Marion County, West Virginia.4,6

Noble L. Hanshaw

Noble L. Hanshaw, 82, of Quiet Dell Community, Fairmont, died Sunday, July 22, 2001, at Wishing Well Health Center, after a long illness.  

He was born July 29, 1918, in Clay, son of the late William and Glenna Hanshaw.  

He retired in 1975 from Coal Resources in Morgantown.  He was Baptist.  

He is survived by his wife, Beulah Adkins Hanshaw, of Fairmont; three sons, Jerry Hanshaw, of Fairmont, Larry Hanshaw, of Morgantown, and Gary Cummings, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  

He was also preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.  

Friends may call at Masters Funeral Home, Mannington, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.  Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2001, with Pastor Lambert Adkins officiating.  Burial will be in Mannington Park Cemetery.

Beulah died Jun 25 2004, Fairmont General Hospital, Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia; buried Mannington Park (Mannington Memorial) Cemetery, Marion County, West Virginia.6,8

Fairmont

Beulah Roberta Hanshaw, 81, of Fairmont died Friday (June 25, 2004) at Fairmont General Hospital after a short illness.  

She was born April 30, 1923, in Clay County, a daughter of the late John Noah and Margaret Sophia Overbaugh Adkins.  

Becoming blind in her later years didn't reduce her love of shopping and her fellowship with the friends she made at The Whistle Stop Cafe and Mom's Place in Fairmont.  Beulah's family and friends will mourn her passing deeply.  

She is survived by three sons and their families, Jerry and Doris Hanshaw of Fairmont, with whom she resided, and their three children, Larry Hanshaw of Morgantown and his two children and five grandchildren; and Gary and Genny Cummings of Fort Myers, Fla., their three children and grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Hanshaw, and was the last of seven children.  

Friends may call at the Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main St., Mannington, today from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery.  

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeffrey Hanshaw, Jake Denham, Megan Hanshaw, Stacy Hixenbaugh, Victoria White and Judy Stewart.
