Everett Burdett Hinshaw

Everett was a dentist.¹ Sometime not long after 1904, Everett moved from Harveyville, Kansas to Bennington, Ottawa County, Kansas, where he shared office space with his brother Lewellyn.⁶

Everett, along with his brother Lewellyn, became an early member of "The Bennington Concert Band", which had been (re)organized in 1912.⁶ Everett was also a member of the "Solomon Valley Quartet", also known as a "Band of Merry Makers".

Everett was called into service during World War I, and after his discharge he began practicing in Marysville, Kansas.⁶

He married Louise Markley.^6,7 Louise, daughter of John H. Markley & Matilda L. Rehberg, was born 1895.^6,7

Louise died 1928, buried Block 7, Bennington Cemetery, Bennington, Ottawa County, Kansas.⁷

He then married Annie Henry.^5,8 Annie, daughter of James Henry & Bertha A. Leuenberger, was born Feb 21 1889, Marysville, Marshall County, Kansas.⁸

Everett Burdett Hinshaw died Aug 14 1950, Marysville, Marshall County, Kansas; buried Marysville City Cemetery, Marshall County, Kansas.^1,5,9

Annie died Mar 9 1965, Marysville, Marshall County, Kansas; buried Marysville City Cemetery, Marshall County, Kansas.^8,9

Also buried in Marysville City Cemetery is an unidentified Hattie Henshaw (1883-1948).^9,10
