Rebeca Hinshaw1 [Rebecca Hinshaw2, Rebecca Henshaw3].

Born 12-2-1835, Marlborough MM, North Carolina.1,2  

She married Newton Davis, Mar 9 1856, Randolph County, North Carolina.3  

A marriage bond was recorded for Rebecca Henshaw & Newton Davis on March 8, 1856, Randolph County, North Carolina.  They were married the next day by J. White, J.P.4

Milton H. Davis.
Robert L. Davis.

She then married T.J. Lamb, Dec 25 1864, Randolph County, North Carolina.3  

At Marlborough MM on 7-6-1866, Rebecca Davis (formerly Hinshaw) was disowned for her "marriage out of unity".1

Oscar Lamb.

Rebeca Hinshaw died before 1868.  Rebecca's parents, in their will of May 23 1868, referred to "the heirs of our Daughter Rebecca".6  

Rebecca's son, Milton Davis, was shown in the 1870 census (Aug 4 1870) living in the household of brother Nathan;7 her son Robert Davis was shown in the 1870 census living in the household of brother Jesse.8  

On Jan 18 1875 in Randolph County, North Carolina, Nathan T. Hinshaw took an oath as executor of the estate of Rebecca Lamb.  He was also named guardian for Milton H. Davis, Robert L. Davis, and Oscar Lamb, children of Rebecca Lamb.5
