She married William Brendle, Feb 21 1861, Yadkin County, North Carolina.3,8,9 William was born about 1806, North Carolina.5
A marriage bond was recorded for Margaret Hinshaw & William Brendle on February 19, 1861, Yadkin County, North Carolina. They were married two days later by Isaac N. Vestal, J.P.8
The 1850 census showed Margaret living in the household of her parents, but with a 2 year old Hannah J. Hinshaw shown separately under Margaret:1
Margaret Hinshaw, age 26, born in North Carolina; cannot read or write.
Because of the way Hannah was grouped with Margaret in the census record, it is believed that Hannah was Margaret's daughter. Note that Hannah was born when Margaret was about 24 years old, but she did not marry William Brendle until she was about 37 years old.
