GRAHAM - Mrs. Elsie Smith Hinshaw, 89, of Liberty Commons, a lifelong resident of Graham, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at Liberty Commons from two months of critical illness.    She was the wife of the late Adam Buryl Hinshaw and was born in Alamance County to the late John Blaylock Smith and Mary Janet Browning Smith.    She was a homemaker.    She was a member of Graham Presbyterian Church and a life member of Women of the Church.    She was active in all activities of the church.    Surviving are sisters, Mrs. Janet S. Corpening of Winston-Salem and nieces and nephews.    Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, 2002, at Graham Presbyterian Church by Dr. Donald Mimbs and the Rev. Lou East.    Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.    The family will receive friends Monday from noon to 1 p.m. in the church parlor of Graham Presbyterian Church prior to the service.    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Graham Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 1089, Graham, NC 27253.    Arrangements by Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service of Graham.
