Winchester - Frances Thornburg, 82, 531 Richmond St., died at Randolph Nursing Home. She was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County. She was a former employee of Overmyer Corp., Ohio Valley Gas, Litschert Mft. and Walker Funeral Home, all in Winchester. She was a member of Winchester Friends Church and was the organist there for many years. She was the organist for silent movies at the old Lyric Theater. Survivors include one daughter, Susan Thomas of Winchester; two grandchildren; one brother, Maurice Hinshaw of Richmond; two sisters, Mary Cook of San Jose, Calif., and Charlene Howell of Winchester. Burial was in Fountain Park Cemetery.
