Born Sep 5 18901,6,7,8,9,10,11 [Sep 5 189112,13], Hutchinson, Reno County, Kansas1,6,7,8,9,10,11.  [His gravestone shows a birth date of Sep 5 1891].12,13  

He married Dora Olet Jackson, 1913.1,2,4,14  Dora, daughter of Nicholas Daniel Jackson & Mary Elizabeth Stillwell, was born Jan 30 1892, Seward, Logan County, Oklahoma.2,3,14,15,16  

This was Dora's second marriage.4  She had been previously married to Victor Boudinier Boxley, Nov 18 1910, Jennings, Oklahoma14 (apparently divorced), by whom she had a son, Clifford Leo Boxley (1912-1983).14  

On Jun 5 1917 Howard Ira Hinshaw, age 26, registered for the World War I draft in Pawnee County, Oklahoma.  He declared he was born September 5 1890 in Hutchinson, Kansas, and was then residing in Jennings, Oklahoma.  He declared he was married, with dependent wife and baby, occupied as a laborer employed by Federal Refining Co. of Jennings.  He was recorded as short, medium build, brown eyes, brown hair.11

Dora remarried to Orvile Whitney Phillips,4,20 and had a daughter, Billie Jean Phillips.4

In 1968 Dora was living in/near Canon City, Fremont County, Colorado.16
