Note that Rebecca's sister Eleanor married Gilbert's brother, Robert Sinclair.12

Living next door in 1850 was the family of Felix Pobst,15 who later that same year (6 days after this enumeration) would marry Rebecca's sister Sarah.  Also living nearby in 1850 was the family of Rebecca's parents and siblings.16  

Rebecca and Gilbert also lived in Wabash, Wabash County, Indiana.7  

Rebecca and family were shown in the 1860 census (Aug 18 1860), Van Buren Township, Grant County, Indiana:4

Rebecca and Gilbert were apparently divorced or separated.17  Gilbert remarried to Rebecca A. (Davis) Stocker, Feb 7 1864, Grant County, Indiana,2,18,19 by whom he had additional children:

Living next door in 1880 was the family of a John Stocker, age 2022 (relationship to the above Becca V. Stocker unknown, but possibly her brother).  Gilbert died Mar 14 1900, buried Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Aldrich, Polk County, Missouri.2
