Born about 1824^2,3,8,9,10 [about 1822⁴], Ohio^2,3,8,9,10.  

On May 1 1849 Levi purchased 80 acres of land in Grant County, Indiana.¹¹  

He married Martha A. Hodgson, Mar 10 1850, Grant County, Indiana.^{12,13,14,15,16}  Martha, daughter of Samuel + Hester Hodgson, was born Feb 14 1832, Ohio.^{2,3,4,5,6,7,9,17,18}

Levi Hinshaw died Sep 30 1887, Huntington County, Indiana; age 63 years 6 months 13 days.^1,8,10  

Martha remarried to Jonas Powell, Dec 18 1895, Huntington County, Indiana.^16,19,20,21  Jonas, born May 10 1830,^22,23 had been previously married to Mary Ann Fisher, who had died Mar 19 1893.^23,24  

Apparently Martha and Jonas were only married briefly, then divorced.⁵  Jonas died Oct 11 1902, Huntington County, Indiana, age 72y 5m 2d, buried Oct 12 1902, Saint Paul Cemetery, Uniondale, Wells County, Indiana.^22,23
