George was shown in the 1820 ciy directory for Montreal, Lower Canada, shown as attorney at law, 8 Place d'arms.3
He married Maria Melinda Holt, Jul 11 1822, Montreal, Quebec.4,5,6 Maria, daughter of William Johnson Holt & Ruah Stevens, was born 1803, Lower Canada.1
Apparently the Henshaw and Holt families were quite friendly. Note that George's sister Caroline married George Johnston Holt and sister Esther married Charles Holt, and also brother John named his first son George Holt Henshaw.
George Sage Henshaw died May 26 1840.1,2
Maria died Dec - 1883, Droitwich, Worcestershire, England.7
