The highest honor in Farm Boys and Girls Clubs in the US at the International Livestock Exposition at Chicago, the Senator Moses Leadership Trophy was awarded to Kenneth Hinshaw, of Goldendale, Klickitat County. He was selected for this single honor from a half million farm boys and girls and club leaders of the United States. The Moses Leadership Trophy is awarded annually to the boy or girl or club leader in the United States showing the most outstanding leadership. Kenneth has completed and reported on 25 projects in the ten years he has been in club work, since ten years old. He is now a Junior in the State College at Pullman and a leader in his home county in livestock and other agricultural activities. He organized the County Livestock Show and Livestock Association; has exhibited purebred stock at county and state fairs and Pacific International at Portland for nine years, winning high place in several classes; has given demonstrations, coached judging teams and was a member of the winning team at Portland in 1922.
