He married Hazel R. Herrington3,4,9,10 [Hazel R. Harrington5], Nov 4 19123,4,9,10, Grant County, Indiana3,4,9,10.  Hazel, daughter of Seth Harrington & Ella Zeck, was born Aug 22 1897, Fairmount, Indiana.5  

On Jun 5 1917 Charles Everett Hinshaw, age 25, registered for the World War I draft in Blackford County, Indiana.  He declared he was born Feby 27 1892 in M[..unclear..], Indiana, and was then residing at 913 W. Water, Hartford City, Indiana, occupied as a glassworker employed by the Johnson Glass Co.  He declared he was married, with a dependent wife.  He was recorded as 5'6" tall, slender, grey eyes, brown hair.2  

Hazel died Jan 25 1920, Gas City, Grant County, Indiana; age 22y 5m 3d.5  

Charles was shown in the 1935 city directory of Phoenix, Arizona:11

Charles Everett Hinshaw died Jan 29 1940, Baker Rest Home, Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona; buried Saint Francis Cemetery, Maricopa County, Arizona.12  Medical: Charles died from pulmunary tuberculosis.12
