Widow Lydia, with daughter Iva and her husband, were shown in the 1910 census (Apr 15 1910), living in the household of her brother William Wade, 210 Garfield Ave., Valparaiso, Porter County, Indiana:^b

Step-Child:

Funeral services were held at Trinity Episcopal Church, April 16, 1945, 11 A.M.    Her body was cremated in Miami, Dade County, Florida on April 16, 1945.^h

Lydia's obituary was published April 13, 1945, as follows:

Mrs. Freemont [sic] Hinshaw Holmes, 83, 446 N. E. 26th st., died Friday in a hospital.    She came from Ann Arbor, Mich., 16 years ago, and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Iva H. Lawrence, Miami, and Mrs. D. B. Kinyon, Ann Arbor.    Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Trinity Episcopal church.    Combs funeral home is in charge.
