Born May 26 19431,3, Reva, Culpeper County, Virginia1,3 [Madison County, Virginia4].  

He married Joyce Ann Beahm, Jun 22 1968.1  Joyce was born Sep 7 1943.1  

Fred and Joyce were apparently divorced.4  

In 1987 Fred was as residing in Brightwood, Madison County, Virginia.5  

In 1999 Fred was residing in Fredericksburg, Virginia.6  

Frederick Wade Henshaw died Feb 19 2005, Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, Virginia; buried Novum Baptist Church Cemetery, 1629 Novum Church Rd., Reva, Culpeper County, Virginia.3,4

Frederick Wade Henshaw

Frederick Wade Henshaw, 61, of Orange, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 at Mary Washington Hospital.  He was born in Madison County to the late James Henry and Iola Carpenter Henshaw.  

Fred was a member of the Novum Baptist Church.  The owner operator of the publishing company "Henshaw Lyrics from the Heart" where he also was a song writer, Fred had recently released his C.D. titled "The Beginning", and had previously recorded some of his songs on the C.D. "America" produced by Hilltop Records.  Fred was working on a new album with Rounders records, in addition to forming the band, Blue Grass Ramblers.  Fred was also involved with the Moose Lodge #1028 (Charlottesville), Eagles Lodge #4123 (Fredericksburg), Moose Legionnaires to which he was a delegate and officer, also a member of American Society of Composers-Authors and Publishers.  Fred was a very large Bluegrass enthusiast.  

Fred is survived by his two sons, Gregory Henshaw of Brightwood, and Jonathan Henshaw and his wife, Michelle, of Culpeper; two grandchildren, Jocelyn and Isabella; four brothers, James Henry II, John Dutton, George Russell, and Gorie Paschal Henshaw; two sisters, Frances Emiline Smoot and Mary Ann Henshaw-McGuire.  

Additional survivors include his ex-wife, Joyce Ann Beahm-Henshaw, close friend, Barbara Batchelor, not to mention numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other close loved ones.  

Fred was preceded in death by one brother, Roland Thomas Henshaw.  

The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Culpeper, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper.  

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Novum Baptist Church, 1629 Novum Church Rd., Reva.  

Interment to follow at Novum Baptist Church Cemetery.  

Pallbearers named are his surviving brothers, and brothers-in-law, Charles McGuire, Everett Smoot and nephews Charles McGuire II and Thomas McGuire.  

Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is handling the arrangements.
