DOVER - May V. Pisapia of Dover died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover.  She was 77.  

Mrs. Pisapia retired from General Foods and was the owner of Bookkeeping Inc. of Dover.  She was the former co-owner of Vane's Flower Shop in Dover.  

She was a member of the Dover Elks Lodge 1903 and the Kent County Republican Women's Club of Dover.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Julia Vane; and a grandson, Richard A. Woodhall Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Louis A. Pisapia of Dover; a son and daughter-in-law, John Lester Henshaw and Jane R. Henshaw of Washington, D.C.; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Carol L. and Arnie Russell and Marilyn M. and Richard R. [sic] Woodhall, all of Dover; three stepchildren and the wives of two, Loretta L. Pisapia of Dover, Harry J. and Carol Pisapia of Galena, Md., and Louis J. and JoAnne Pisapia of Camden; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.  

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Faries Funeral Home, 1250 S. Governors Ave., Dover

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in the funeral home.  

Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.  

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Delaware Hospice Inc., 911 S. Du Pont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
