Hinshaw, Roy, son, age 5, born in Arkansas; father born in Arkansas; mother born in Iowa.
Hinshaw, Howard, son, age 1 year 6 months, born in Arkansas; father born in Arkansas; mother born in Iowa.
Robert Sidney Hinshaw died before 1948.2
It seems as though Robert was murdered with poison by his own wife. The following is a segment from the will of Robert's brother Grover:
To the heirs of (Bob) Robert Sidney Hinshaw the (2nd) second son of John B. Hinshaw or his heirs, named Roy Hinshaw, Howard T Hinshaw, I will one dollar, if they come to claim same. When their father died I did not know, but when John E. Smith died at my home in Marked Tree he told me Lenard Sullens bought the poison and Arthur Phillips (Bills boy) took the poison to the Harrican farm 5 miles west, and north of Grubbs Jackson co. Arkansas to Bessie Guy Hinshaw. She gave Bob Hinshaw the poison which took his life. You should have this information so that you will know, why you was not wanted to associate with your father's people.
