He married Willie Ida Jones, Aug 19 1911.1,3,4,6,12  Willie, daughter of Seaborn Alison Jones & Louisa Adaline Counts, was born Apr 29 1894, Jackson County, Alabama.2,3,4,6,10,12,13,14  Willie was the sister of Monroe Jones who married Arthur's sister Minnie.1  

On Jun 5 [1917] Arthur J. Henshaw, age 30, registered for the World War I draft in Jackson County, Alabama.  He declared he was born December 22nd 1887 [unclear] in Milan, Jackson County, Alabama, and was then residing in Princeton, Jackson County, Alabama where he had a wife and three children, and was a farmer.  He was recorded as median height, slender, black eyes, dark brown hair, and a disability: "one eye lost".9
