Young Man Disappears

Murry Patton, 13 years old, who has been making his home with Mr. and Mrs. D. Henshaw in Utica the past winter, has disappeared from his home and his whereabouts as yet is unknown.  Mr. Henshaw has had a revolver in his home of which the young man was especially fond, but he has never been allowed to handle it.  The Henshaws left home Saturday for a short time, leaving the young man at home to do the chores and keep house.  Upon their return Saturday night they found the chores undone, the house torn up in general, and a large mirrow [sic] smashed with a pistol shot.  The young man had disappeared, taking with him the pistol.  A search of the surrounding country was made with no results and late today the young man had not been found.
