Elda I. Groesser, a native and lifelong resident of Bingham Twp. died 12 Aug 1991 at Leelanau Memorial Hospital's Long Term Care Unit, ten days after her 78th birthday. Mrs. Groesser, a member of the Bingham Ladies Aide, was born 02 Aug 1913, a daughter of Russell W. and Lucy Core Hinshaw.
She was married in 1930 to F. Raymond Groesser, who died in 1982. She is survived by a son, Frances W. of Bingham; three daughters, Judy Petroskey, Loretta Sanborn and Marsha Walton, all of Bingham Twp.; two sisters, Mrs. Don (Lucy) Lee of Suttons Bay and Lola Olney of Charlevoix; 21 grand children and 17 great-grandchildren. Burial was in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
