He then married Martha E. (Lewis) Hancock, Feb 16 1905, Pope County, Illinois.¹⁰ Martha was born about 1868, Illinois.² Second marriage for both George and Martha¹⁰ (Martha had previously married Josiah Hancock, Oct 26 1887, Saline County, Illinois).¹¹

Widower Anderson was shown in the 1920 census (Jan 12 1920), living in the household of his daughter Julia in Carrier Mills, Saline County, Illinois:³

George Anderson Hinshaw died Mar 8 1935, Carrier Mills, Saline County, Illinois; buried Little Saline Cemetery, Stonefort, Saline County, Illinois.^4,9

Anderson and Sarah are buried together under a double gravestone in Little Saline Cemetery. Also buried next to them is an Ellen Henshaw (probably Anderson's sister, Nancy Ellen Henshaw); and also an unidentified Peggy Henshaw (no dates shown), Jamima Henshaw (1896, presumably a death date), and George Henshaw (1902, also presumably a death date) -⁹ these were possibly additional children or grandchildren.¹⁴
