Born May 26 1829, McLean County, Illinois.1,2,3,4  

He married Artemissa Mary Ellen Wilson1,2,5 [Artimissa M. Wilson6, Artamissa Mary Ellen Wilson5,7,8], May 16 18521,2,5, McLean County, Illinois1,2,5.  

Artemissa died Jan 31 1853, buried in West Twin Grove Cemetery, McLean County, Illinois.6  

He then married Eliza Ann Rhodes, Feb 28 1856, McLean County, Illinois.8,9  

Cyrus A. Hinshaw died Feb - 1860, Dry Grove Township, McLean County, Illinois; age 33.10  Medical: Cyrus died from cholera.10  In May of 1860 an unidentified child, Charles Hinshaw, age 3, also died from cholera in Dry Grove Township, McLean County, Illinois;10 in Feb of 1860 an unidentified infant, Lucien Hinshaw, age 4 months, died from "brain fever" in Dry Grove Township10 (one or both of these might have been Cyrus' children).11  

It is possible that Eliza Ann remarried to a Wesley Short in 1860 - see: Eliza Ann Hinshaw.
