In 1960 Steven graduated from Pittsboro High School, Pittsboro, Indiana. He later joined the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1988.
He married Carolyn Mary Sampson, Oct 22 1964.1,2 Carolyn was born Oct 22 1942.1 This was Carolyn's second marriage.1
As of 1989 Steven was the head maintenance man for McDonald's in San Antonio, Texas, where he had last served with the Air Force.1
