In 1965 Kathy graduated from Pittsboro High School, Pittsboro, Indiana.¹⁷⁶

She married Richard Land, Jul 7 1965, Christian Church, Pittsboro, Hendricks County, Indiana.¹⁷⁶    Richard was born Dec 31 1944, probably Pittsboro, Hendricks County, Indiana.¹⁷⁶

Rick graduated from Pittsboro High School in 1962.    Initially he was employed at the Electronic Steel Casting Co., Speedway (Indianapolis), Indiana.    Later he sold chemicals.¹⁷⁶

Kathy graduated from a beautician's school in Indianapolis and for a time after her marriage she operated a beauty parlor and tanning salon in Pittsboro.¹⁷⁶

In October of 1988 she and Richard gave up their business, sold their newly-built log home in Pittsboro, and moved to Haiti as lay missionaries with the Christianville Mission operated by the Christianville Foundation.    As of 1998, Kathy and Richard were still in Haiti, ministering to the poor.¹⁷⁶
