On Sep 12 1918 Cyrus Walton Harvey, age 37, registered for the World War I draft in Galveston County, Texas.  He declared he was born June 6th 1881, and was then residing in Kemah, Galveston County, Texas, employed as postmaster.  He declared his nearest relative was Luzena Harvey of Kemah.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, brown eyes, dark hair, and "Right arm and both legs paralized. Sick".  The form was signed "Luzena Harvey Wife for Cyrus Walton Harvey".⁶  

Cyrus died Sep 27 1918, buried Fairview Cemetery, League City, Galveston County, Texas.¹³

She then married Albert M. Harvey, May 22 1926, Hendricks County, Indiana.^3,9  Albert, son of John Harvey & Mary A. Hunt, was born Oct 9 1866, Indiana.^3,11,14  Albert had been previously married to Ruth Ann Compton, who had died in 1922.¹⁹
