Evelyn Hardage
(November 10, 1920 - January 8, 2009)

Evelyn Henshaw Hardage, age 88 of Bismarck, died Thursday, January 8, 2009.  She was born November 10, 1920 the daughter of Roe and Mae Phillips Henshaw.  She was retired from Levi Strauss and one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Hardage, her parents, one brother, Robert Henshaw, one sister Martha Duboise and one great grandchild.  

She is survived by one son, W.C. Hardage and his wife Joyce of Bismarck, one daughter, Shirley Finley and her husband Gregg of West Milford, N.J., two sisters, Ila Cox of Midland, TX and Ellen Colvin and her husband Bob of Arkadelphia, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and another on the way and several nieces and nephews.  The family would like to thank the Alzheimer's unit staff at Golden Living Center and especially Robin and Marilyn for their loving care.  

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday, January 11, 2009 in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the New Bismarck Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
