During World War II Lester served in the U.S. Army.6  

He married Marjorie Katharine Boorman, Nov 4 1949.1  

In 1984 Lester was living in Spokane, Washington.2  

Lester Frank Hanshaw died Jan 8 1984, Spokane, Spokane County, Washington; age 78.1,2,6,7  

Marjorie died May 14 2002, buried Pines Cemetery, Opportunity, Washington.8

Memorial service for Marjorie K. (Boorman) Hanshaw, 85, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Greenacres Christian Church.  Burial will be at Pines Cemetery.  Thornhill Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  

Mrs. Hanshaw, who died May 14, was a lifelong resident of the Spokane Valley.  

She graduated from Central Valley High School.  

She married Lester Hanshaw in 1949 and was a homemaker.  

Her husband died in 1984.  

Survivors include a sister, Jeanice Almandinger of Hillsboro, Ore.; and a brother, Cliff Boorman of Quincy, Wash.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Spokane.
