Born about 1823, Virginia.1  

She married Thomas Edward Taylor, Nov 28 1844, Madison County, Virginia.2,3,4  Thomas, son of Thomas Taylor & Frances Barber, was born about 1815, Madison County, Virginia.1,3

Ann Elizabeth Taylor, born about 1851, Virginia.
Mary Jane Taylor, born about 1855, Virginia.
Sarah Emma Taylor, born Aug 3 1860, Olathe, Kansas; died Oct 27 1943, Republic, Missouri; married Ezekial Harry Inman on Jul 8 1879.

Nancy and Thomas are shown in the 1850 census, Culpepper County, Virginia, as follows:1

Thomas E. Taylor, age 35, born in Virginia; merchant; $1000 real estate.
Nancy Taylor, age 27, born in Virginia.
Frances J. Taylor, age 2, born in Virginia.
William Triscott, age 27, born in Virginia; cabinet maker.
L... [unclear] Cox, age 27, born in Virginia; shoemaker.
Hugh M... [unclear], born in Virginia [other data unclear].
From the census data it appears as though Thomas and Nancy had several boarders.  

Nancy and Thomas are shown in the 1859 Kansas state census, Olathe Township, Johnson County, Kansas.5  

In the 1870 U.S. census, Thomas Taylor was shown still living in Olathe Township, Johnson County, Kansas (pg 605).6  However Nancy Taylor was shown living in East Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon (pg 133).7  It is unknown why they were apparently living apart.  

Thomas died Sep 20 1888, Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas.3  

Nancy Henshaw died Nov 26 1900, Oregon; age 76.8
