Starting about 1899, Albert was Superintendent of the Ohio Military Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio.8  

He married Nancy Stanton Ely, about 1908.1,4,9  Nancy, daughter of John Hugh Ely & Mary Darwin Stanton, was born Jan 18 1882, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.2,4,5,9

Albert Melville Henshaw died Jun 20 1950, at his home, 5553 Belmont Ave., College Hill, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio; buried Jun 22 1950, section 72, lot 71, Spring Grove Cemetery, 4521 Spring Grove Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio.5  

After Albert died Nancy continued to live at the Ohio Military Institute, in the small house at the western end of the parade ground, until at least 1954.10  

In 1962 Nancy was living at 5836 Blue Spruce Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio.5  

Nancy died Aug 27 1962, Holmes Hospital, Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio; age 80.5,9,11  

Nancy's obituary was published in The Cincinnati Post & Times-Star on August 28, 1962:9

Mrs. Nancy Henshaw

Mrs. Nancy Stanton Ely Henshaw, 80 of 5836 Blue-spruce lane died yesterday at Holmes Hospital.  

A native and life-resident of Cincinnati, Mrs. Henshaw was the daughter of the Rev. John Ely, former rector of Grace Episcopal Church, College Hill.  She was a member of the Cincinnati Kennel Club and was an authority on Scotish Terriers and the Wheaton breed.  Mrs. Henshaw's husband, the late Col. Albert Henshaw, operated the Ohio Military Institute.  

Mrs. Henshaw leaves one daughter, Mrs. Thomas H. Birch of Cincinnati; one son, Hugh Ely Henshaw of Ann Arbor, Mich, and seven grandchildren.  

Funeral services will be at 11:a.m. Wednesday at Grace Episcopal Church.  There will be no calling hours.
