She married Hubert Wilber Horton, Dec 2 1869, Hamilton County, Indiana.1,3,4,5,6  

Hubert converted to the Friends Church after their marriage and became actively involved.5  

At the time of their marriage Hubert was a farmer, but he later became an aucioneer who was much sought after for his auctioneering talents.5  Upon his death an article in the Indianapolis News called him "the most famous man in northern Indiana".5

About 1911 Martha was living in Westfield, Hamilton County, Indiana.4,7  

Martha Jane Hinshaw died Mar 1 1947, Westfield, Hamilton County, Indiana; buried Little Eagle Cemetery.5
