Born Apr 27 19303,4,5,6,7,8 [Apr 27 19299,10], Nutter Fort, Harrison County, West Virginia3,4,5,6,7,8 [Park, Harrison County, West Virginia9].  

On May 9 1947 Denny joined the U.S. Navy in Baltimore, Maryland.4  

He married Betty Bernice Baker, Apr 4 1948, Clarksburg, Harrison County, West Virginia.9,11  Betty, daughter of James Baker & Bertha Walls, was born Apr 11 1930, Erie, Harrison County, West Virginia.9  

He then married Dorothy May "Dot" Jones, Apr 8 1950, Hope Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.3,4,12  Dorothy, daughter of Edson Leon Jones & Loretta Truman, was born Johnstown, Pennsylvania.13  

During the Korean War Dennis served in the U.S. Navy (service dates May 9 1947 - Feb 1 1950 and Jun 19 1952 - Jun 17 1953).7,8  

In 1993 Dennis was living in Lansdowne, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.5  

Dennis Samuel "Denny" Henshaw died Nov 15 19933,5,6 [Nov 14 19937,8], Ft. Meyers, Lee County, Florida3,5,6; buried/cremted West Laurel Hill Crematroy, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania3,5,6.  

Dorothy died Mar 13 2013, Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media, Pennsylvania.13

Dorothy M. "Dot" (nee Jones) Henshaw

Dorothy "Dot" Henshaw passed away peacefully on March 13, 2013 at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, PA surrounded by her family.  

Dot was born in Johnstown, PA to the late Loretta Truman and Edson Leon Jones.  She attended school in Johnstown and later moved to Philadelphia.  She spent many years in Colwyn, PA and last resided at Fair Acres retirement community.  Dot was a candy maker who first worked at Whitman's Chocolates and then retired from Lerro's Candies in Darby, PA.  Dot loved to travel; she has been all over the United States and on a number or cruises.  

Her favorite trip was to Ireland with her family.  She enjoyed vacationing at the beach with her family and also enjoyed her day trips to the casinos.  Dot especially loved to dance every chance she could.  In addition to her parents, Dot was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Dennis "Denny" Henshaw; her son Brian Henshaw; her step-father Albert Truman and her brothers Robert and William Jones.  

Survivors: Her children: Audra (Pat) Flanagan, Denise (Jim) Myers, Samuel (Janet) Henshaw and stepson Dennis (Dana) Henshaw; her sister Janet Morris; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends.  Service: The family would like to invite her friends to remember and celebrate Dot's life on Saturday, March 30th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at Central Park Restaurant, 650 Baltimore Pike, Springfield, PA, 19064.  (Next to the Days Inn)

In lieu of flowers: donations can be made in Dot's name to the American Cancer Society.
