Born Dec 20 1945, Gridley, Butte County, California.1  

Laurie's biological father was her mother's first husband.  When her mother remarried to Clarence Elmer Hinshaw she was formally adopted and took the Hinshaw name.1  

She married Floyd Lindbeck.2  Floyd, son of Lester + Ruth Lindbeck, was born Nov 2 1945, Vallejo, Solano County, California.1,2

Cynthia Diane Lindebeck, born Jan 14 1969; married Roy Moenich.

Laurie and Floyd divorced in 1985.2  Floyd died Apr 11 2013, age 67.2

Floyd Lindbeck
November 2, 1945-April 11, 2013

Floyd Lindbeck, age 67, of Chowchilla, Ca. passed away April 11, 2013 after a short illness.  

Floyd was born November 2, 1945 in Vallejo, Ca., the youngest son of Lester and Ruth Lindbeck.  Floyd was raised in Bangor, Ca. by Ruth and step-father Joe Tisserye.  Floyd graduated from Oroville High School and Yuba College.  While in college, Floyd met and married Laurie Hinshaw and worked as a bus driver for the college.  Floyd then moved on to work for Kilby MFG in Gridley, Ca.  

In 1967, Floyd moved to Chowchilla to work for his father's business, Lindbeck and Smith Rototilling.  In 1968, Floyd moved to Gridley, Ca. and went back to work for Kilby MFG.  Floyd helped his stepfather as a crew chief on his super-modified race car which raced at the Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Ca.  Floyd was also involved with the Sportsmen's Club and the Loyal Order of Moose in Gridley.  

In 1985, Floyd went through a divorce and moved back to Chowchilla to take over his father's business.  Floyd enjoyed serving his community and was actively involved with the Chowchilla Rotary Club (where he became president) and the Elks Lodge of Madera, Ca.  He also taught Hunter Safety classes in Chowchilla.  

Floyd married his best friend, Sandra Rutter, on June 10, 1995 and continued to run the rototiller business with his business partner and brother-in-law, Ronald Smith.  In 2001, Floyd went to work for Midland Tractor.  He then moved on to the Chowchilla Water District in 2004 and started a small business, L & H Backflow Testing, with long-time friend and partner Richard Herman.  

Floyd enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing with his grandchildren, and going to the races.  

Floyd is survived by his wife of 19 years, Sandra Lindbeck, his son Michael Lindbeck and his girlfriend Leslie Goodhue, his daughter Cindy Moenich and her husband Roy Moenich, his stepdaughter's Rhonda Briggs, Wendy Judd and her husband Steve Judd, Jennifer De Falco and her husband Andy De Falco.  Floyd is also survived by 8 grandchildren, his brother Melvin Lindbeck, and his sisters Helen Smith and Lillian Mastelotto.  He was preceded in death by his father Lester, his mother Ruth, his step-father Joe and his sister Vivian Melbard.  

Floyd was dearly loved by all and will be greatly missed.  

A service for Floyd will be held on Sunday April 21, 2013 at Farnesi's Steak House at 230 E Robertson Blvd., Chowchilla, CA at 3:00 p.m.
