Latter-day Saints Church Member Dies At Age 73Carlyn Henshaw Hall, 73, of Buena Vista, died Thursday, May 26, 2005 in the Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Hall was born on November 2, 1931 in Chesterfield County, a daughter of the late Charles Ruffin Henshaw, Sr. and Hester Fisher Henshaw.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband, Delbert Henry Hall, Sr. of Buena Vista; seven children: Delbert Henry Hall, Jr. of Newport News, Robert Warren Hall of Buena Vista, Bonnie Jean Hart of Monticello, UT, Denise Gay Calton of Mechanicsville, Sandra Elaine Pence of Buena Vista, David William Hall of Chico, CA, Justice Lee Hall of Buena Vista; five brothers and sisters: Delmar Farmer and Charles R. Henshaw of Sacramento, CA, Michelle Madison of Mobile, AL and 29 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2005 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with Bishop Don Chamberlain officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 725 W. 29th St., Buena Vista, Va 24416. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Southern Virginia University, One College Hill Drive, Buena Vista, Va. 24416.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Service, Buena Vista.
