He married Miranda Jane Pearce^{1,2,13,14,16,18} [Jane Pearce^19,20], Jul 2 1868^{1,2,13,14,16,18}, Randolph County, North Carolina^{1,2,13,14,16,18}.  Miranda, daughter of Lindsay + Lydia Pearce^2,18,21, was born Aug 17 1844^2,18,21 [Aug - 1846^3,8,15,19,20], North Carolina^2,18,21.  

A marriage bond was recorded for Isaac G. Hinshaw, son of James & Martha Hinshaw, and Miranda J. Pearce, daughter of Lindsay & Lydia Pearce, on Jun 27 1868, Randolph County, North Carolina.  They were married Jul 2 1868 by W. A. Dougan, J.P.^13,21
