Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Betty Hinshaw, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Hinshaw, Eighteenth street and New Hampshire avenue, to staff Sergeant Paul W. Johnson of Warrenton, N.C., son of the late Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Johnson of Roanoke, N.C. The wedding took place May 2 in the Methodist chapel at Camp Crowder. The ceremony was read by Lieutenant Francis Jones, post chaplain. They were attended by Miss Florence Costello and Corporal Irving Cronin. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Bobby-gene Hinshaw. The bride was graduated from Joplin high school where she was a member of the National Honor Society and Quill and Scroll. Sergeant Johnson attended Duke university in Durham, N.C. and is a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. The groom formerly was stationed at Camp Crowder and Fort Monmouth, N. J. and has been assigned to duty in Pittsburg, Calif.
