Janet was a elementary teacher for 26 years, then retired, and lived in (1993-2005) Newberg, Oregon.2,3,5

Janet E. Snow

Janet E. Snow died Sept. 10, 2007, of progressive supranuclear palsy at age 76.  

Janet E. Hinshaw was born June 5, 1931, in Rose Hill, Kan., and moved to Newberg in 1945.  She graduated from Newberg High School and George Fox College and moved in 1956 to Portland, where she was an elementary teacher in Lents Elementary School.  She returned to Newberg in 1967, and was an elementary teacher for St. Paul Elementary School for 20 years.  In 1954, she married Peter C.  

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Elaine Cropper; sons, Randal, Greg and Eric; sisters, Ruthellen Johnson and Esther Mae Hinshaw; brothers, Keith Hinshaw and Sheldon Hinshaw; and six grandchildren.  

Arrangements by Sunnyside Little Chapel of the Chimes.
