He then married Jean Derby Yeager5 [Jean Derby3], Oct 27 19905.  Jean, daughter of Ernest + Bessie Derby, was born Jan 27 1925.3  

Jean had been previously married to William A. Yeager, Jr., Jan 29 1947.3  

Esper Paul Hinshaw died Oct 20 1995, Woodward, Woodward County, Oklahoma; buried Anadarko, Caddo County, Oklahoma.1,2,5  

In 1999 Jean was living in Woodward, Oklahoma.1  

Jean died Aug 22 2010, Woodward, Oklahoma; buried Elmwood Cemetery.3  

Jean's obituary was published in the "Woodward News" (Woodward, Oklahoma) on August 25, 2010:3

Woodward, Okla. -- Jean Yeager Hinshaw loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend left this earth for her heavenly home on August 22, 2010.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday August 26, 2010 in the First Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Jason Dirks officiating.  Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with the Billings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  

B. Jean Derby was born on January 27, 1925.  Her parents were Bessie and Ernest Derby of Woodward.  Jean attended schools in Woodward graduating in 1942.  Upon her graduation Jean went to work for the Corps of Engineers in Woodward and Cactus, Texas.  On January 29, 1947, Jean married William A. Yeager, Jr., the "love of her life" and with this union she become the mother of a lovely young daughter, Patricia Ann Yeager.  Jean and Bill made their first home in Tulsa, Oklahoma where their son, William A. Yeager, III was born.  Jean and Bill moved to Woodward where their family continued to grow with the birth of a precious daughter, Sheryl (Sherri) Leslie Yeager Redden.  Jean worked for KSIW, Woodward's first radio station from 1950 to 1960 when she opened her business, Jean's House of Hobbies.  Jean's artistic teaching style reached hundreds of ladies throughout Northwest Oklahoma with her ceramic classes.  After closing the House of Hobbies Jean went to work in the Occupational Therapy Unit at Western State Hospital.  Jean's devotion to teaching and helping others became such a driving force that at the age of 45 years she went to college and received her degree as an Occupational Therapist.  Jean went to work for the Northwest Regional Educational Service Center.  Under her direction the center was able to expand to a new location that provided service and opportunities that enhanced the lives for senior citizens in Woodward.  Jean retired from the Senior Citizens Center in February 1992.  

Jean was an active member of the Woodward First Presbyterian Church and served as an Elder for several years as well as being a member of the Presbyterian Women's group.  She also was an Executive Member of the International Order of Rainbow for Girls, Eastern Stars, Beta Sorosis, Red Hatters Club, the "Girls" Bridge Club, Hand and Foot Club, and the Woodward Chamber of Commerce.  

Jean is survived by her son, William A. Yeager, III (Bill) and wife, Sharon and daughter, Sheryl (Sherri) Redden and husband, Bruce all of Woodward; daughter(step) Patti Wroan and husband, Lyle of Glendale, CA; nine grandchildren April Redden Evans, Misty Redden, Traci Yeager, all of Woodward; Shelby Spillman and husband, Jayme of Fargo; Shay Batenhorst and husband, Greg of Dalhart, Texas; Bruce Redden Jr. of Dallas, Texas; Douglas Wroan and wife, Michelle of Manhatten Beach, CA; David Wroan and wife, Jennifer of Los Angeles, CA; Dawn Weyand and husband, Gary of LaCanada, CA; and nine great grandchildren Kaad Yeager Edwards, Kelby Holland, Keela Edwards all of Woodward; Kelton Spillman and Keegan Spillman of Fargo; Brooke Steele and Garrett Weyand of LaCanada, CA; Grant Wroan and Graham Wroan of Manhatten Beach, CA in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Bessie and Ernest Derby; sister Evelyn Derby; brother and sister-in-law Bob and Mary Catherine; the "love of her life" William (Bill) Yeager and husband Paul Hinshaw.  

Family was always important and dear to Jean's heart and as her health began to decline Jean stated many times "she wanted to be cared for by her family and not strangers".  The family held true to this request with Misty Redden, one of her granddaughters becoming her primary caregiver.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
