The funeral for Marcella Rae Hinshaw Wyatt, 77, of Woodward, will be 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Gary McClellan will officiate. Burial will be in Vonton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Billings Funeral Home, Woodward.
She was born Aug. 7, 1928, on a farm near Sharon to Jesse Vivan and Mildred Anita Groves Hinshaw and died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, at her home.
She attended Prairie View and Vonton country schools and graduated from Sharon High School in 1946. She worked for a telephone company as an operator.
She married Glen Arlen Wyatt Oct. 7, 1947, in Darrouzett, Texas. They lived in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas before moving to Woodward in the late-1950s. She worked for Woodward Tag Agency and was a receptionist for Drs. C.E. Williams, Tom Duggin and Dan Duggin. She joined Trinity Lutheran Church in the early 1950s. She served with the Altar Guild.
Surviving are her children, Rhonda "Ronnie" Carrico of Vinita, Marc Wyatt of Lebanon, Mo., and Jeff Wyatt of Woodward; one brother, Harlan Hinshaw of Seiling; two sisters, Wanda Lynes of Woodward and Carol Scott of Bethany; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, and two brothers.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Trinity Lutheran Church.
