In 1932, the West Union Friends Meeting celebrated its 100-year anniversary. As part of a fund raiser, the ladies of West Union made a large quilt upon which was embroidered the names of members who purchased spots on the quilt for 10 cents per name (see: http://www.rootsweb.com/~inmchaga/namequi2.html ).
