Born 8-13-1796, Randolph County, North Carolina.1,2,3,4,5  

At Cane Creek MM on 4-4-1829, Ruth and mother Rebecca and sister Rebekah were granted a certificate to White River MM, Indiana.  During that same year, Ruth's brother Simon and family, and brother Thomas and family, were all granted certificates to White Water1 (perhaps because their father had died four years earlier).  

At White River MM (Indiana) on 12-5-1829, Ruth & mother Rebecca & sister Rebecca were received on a certificate from Cane Creek MM, endorsed over to Springfield MM.6  

Ruth Hinshaw died Sep 15 1840, Indiana.4  Unmarried4

In her will dated Dec 26 1840 (probated May 28 1841, Wayne County, Indiana) Ruth bequeathed her estate to her brother Thomas and sister Rebecca.2
