Irene G. Grooms Irene Grace Grooms, 77, of Hershey, PA, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at her home. Born October 19, 1926 in Uniontown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daisy and Louis P. Henshaw.
She is survived by her husband, William N. Grooms; a sister, Henrietta Eicher of Uniontown; a son, William N. Grooms II, of Hummelstown, PA; a daughter, Janet R. Zipse of NYC; and 4 grandchildren.
Irene was a member of Donegal Presbyterian Church, Mt. Joy, PA; a former member of the Donegal Presbyterian Women's Club; Eastern Star; and the Birthday Girls Club. She volunteered at the Penn State M. S. Hershey Medical Center for several years.
Memorial services will be held at Donegal Presbyterian Church, 1891 Donegal Springs Road, Mt. Joy, PA on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 11 a.m. The family will start greeting at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
