Clark was a World War I veteran.5,10  

On Jun 5 [1917] Clark Dawson Henshaw, age 24, registered for the World War I draft in Luzerne Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.  He declared he was born November 29th 1892 in North Union Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.  He was then residing at 18 Lincoln, Uniontown, Pennsylvania, where he was single and a farmer employed by Frank D. Moore of Luzerne Township.  He was recorded as tall, slender, gray eyes, dark brown hair.  The draft board registrar who signed his draft card was Frank D. Moore.3  

The following article was published in "The Clearfield Progress" (Clearfield, Pennsylvania) on Monday evening, December 23, 1918:10

He married Mildred Belle Hackney, Jun 26 1922.1  Mildred was born Sep 9 1896, Pennsylvania.5,8,11  

Clark and Mildred were shown in the 1930 census (Apr 17 1930), 2 Winchell Avenue, Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania:5

Henshaw, Clark D., head-of-household, age 37, born in Pennsylvania; parents born in Pennsylvania; first married at age 29; owned home ($10,000 value); radio in home; occupation: carpenter, house; World War I veteran.
Henshaw, Mildred H., wife, age 34, born in Pennsylvania; parents born in Pennsylvania; first married at age 26; occupation: teacher, public school.

In 1937 Clark was living in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.12  

In 1942 Clark Dawson Henshaw, age 49, registered for the World War II draft in North Union Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.  He declared he was born Nov. 29 1892 in North Union Township, and was then residing at 2 Winchell, Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania, employed by Tri State Roofing of Uniontown.  He declared his relative/contact was Mrs. Mildred H. Henshaw of the same address.6  

In 1966 Clark was still living in/near Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.8  

Clark Dawson Henshaw died Sep 5 1966, Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; age 73.8,13  

Clark's obituary was published in "The Morning Herald" and "The Evening Standard" (Uniontown, Pennsylvania) on September 6-7, 19667 (see scan below).  

Widow Mildred's 80th birthday was noted in "The Evening Standard" (Uniontown, Pennsylvania) on Tuesday, September 7, 197611 (see scan below).  

Mildred died May - 1981.8
