Born May 9 1892, Waldec West, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.3,4  (May 9 1897, Deep Brook, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia).5  

He married Martha Frances Hannon.1  Martha, daughter of Joseph Hannon & Annie Shine, was born 1907, Milton, Massachusetts.6  

On Jun 5 1918 Charles Roy Henshaw, age 21, registered for the World War I draft in Ossipee, Carroll County, New Hampshire.  He declared he was born May 9 1897 in Deep Brook, Nova Scotia, his father also born in Nova Scotia, and he was then an alien living in Intervale, New Hampshire where he was employed by the Marshall Lumber Co. of Intervale.  He declared his nearest relative was Charles Henshaw of Deep Brook, Nova Scotia.  He was recorded as medium height, medium build, blue eyes, light brown hair.5  

Martha died Jul 6 1970, buried Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.7  

Charles Roy Henshaw died Apr 1 1975, Digby County, Nova Scotia; buried Mount Hope Cemetery, Bear River, Annapolis County, Nova Scotia.8
