GRANVILLE FERRY - The death of Arthur Clifford Fancy, 83, South Milford, occurred Thursday at Mrs. Jefferson's Nursing Home, Port Royal. Born in New Elm, Lunenburg County, Mr. Fancy was the son of the late Isaiah and Emma (Rafuse) Fancy.
He and his wife, Martha Beatrice Henshaw, had celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary on April 12 at their home in Granville Ferry.
Also surviving are four daughters; Laura (Mrs. Eugene Rafuse), South Milford, Mrs. Hattie MacMillan, Parrsboro, Alma, Mrs Willis Maynard, Liverpool, Bertha (Mrs Edward Douchman), Upper Granville; five sons, Noble, New Grafton, Burton and Chester, Maitland Bridge, Maurice, Spryfield, Sheldon, Kingston, Arnold, South Milford; 50 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
The body is at Chisholm's Funeral Home, Granville Ferry.
Services are to be held Sunday at the United Baptist Church, Milford, with Rev. Paul Underwood officiating.
